Abe’s Farm is a stylish destination nestled at the foot of Mount Arayat, in the heart of Pampanga and not far from Pinatubo. The main reason to come here is to breathe, to enjoy the wooded grounds and swimming pool, and to relax. You can choose to spend the night in one of the air-conditioned Ifugao huts or in the more ordinary rooms.
You can also take advantage of the on-site spa and therapeutic treatments. The restaurant is excellent and offers the opportunity to savor the culinary delights of the Pampanga province.
Abe’s Farm began as a dream of Larry J. Cruz (LJC), with traditional Bahay Kubo huts in a larger style, which he wanted to give to his father, Abe.
Unfortunately, LJC passed away earlier than expected. From then on, Ernesto Aguilar Cruz, famous writer, artist and father of Larry Cruz, kept the place and did everything to make it look as his son would have wished.
Abe’s farm restaurant and accommodation concept was inspired by LJC’s love of food and his friends. He wasn’t a chef, nor did he have any real talent for cooking, but he had very sensitive taste, and he knew exactly what was missing and what was wrong with a dish.
Proud to be Kapampangan, Mr. Aguilar made sure that the dishes offered were all authentic Pampanga dishes, approved by LJC. These include fern-based salads, sinigang (an acidic tamarind-based soup), chicken with ube (a purple sweet potato), rice cooked in bamboo and much more…
And after lunch, you can visit the museum featuring Abé’s works. Guests can take part in a variety of activities including countryside walks, cooking classes, relaxing massages and outdoor yoga sessions.
