Tour C in El Nido

El Nido is the destination of choice for many tourists to the Philippines, particularly, Palawan in particular. It’s also the main reason why Palawan has won the title of most beautiful island in the world 3 years running.

Renowned for its white sandy beaches and coral reefs, it is a gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs. The main activities for visiting El Nido and the surrounding area are generally, but not exclusively, island hopping.

The municipality has regulated the various possible tours, of which there are four: A, B, C and D, all of which are worthwhile, with different destinations.

Tour C include :

  • Helicopter Island
  • Matinloc Shrine
  • Secret Beach
  • Star Beach
  • Hidden Beach

Like all tours, it can be done (in normal times) either on a shared boat (with a maximum of 30 passengers) or on a private boat (this is likely to become the norm by now).

Lunch is prepared and served on one of the beaches visited, by the crew of the banca (traditional Filipino fishing boat) on which you embark in the early morning, and on which you’ll spend most of the day.

El Nido is open to local tourists, so if you haven’t yet discovered this destination, it’s time to plan your next trip!
